The article is dedicated the study of system of secondary education reforming process of in Russia the end of XIX - the beginning of the XX century. The author carries out the comparative analysis of reform projects for the comprehensive schools that was developed by the commission of N.P. Bogolepov, P.S. Vannovsky, P.M. Kauffman, P.N. Ignatyev. The special attention is paid to the tendencies and regularities in formation of the purposes, structures and content of school education, and composition mathematical education.
