The relevance of the provisions reflected in the article is due to the need to use various methods in teaching foreign students the Russian language during distance learning. The article points out the difficulties faced by teachers, pays special attention to working with tests, and suggests a model for teaching reading on the example of teaching Russian to Vietnamese schoolchildren and the transition to distance learning.
