Teaching preschool children to create fairy tales

The authors prove that Pedagogy and Methodology of teaching the Russian language to preschoolers do not represent well the system of teaching writing based on understanding the genre features of fairy tales. During the experiment with 40 preschool children, it was found that 5-6 year-old children find it difficult to choose a plot and its implementation in speech utterance, they do not adhere to the laws of the fairy tale genre, do not use “fairy tale words”, their speech is intonationally unexpressive. It is proved that a special subject-developmental environment, organized during the experiment, the implementation of the original methodology of special training aimed at forming elementary knowledge in children about the rules for composing a fairy tale story, leads to positive changes in the development of speech of preschool children.
