Agricultural science contributes to the functioning of agricultural production at competitive level. Key importance is given to technical support for agro-industrial complex. At the same time, technical means and technologies for agricultural production are important, as well as for new high-yielding crop varieties, including potted crops. Effectiveness of plant breeding work largely depends on its volume and intensity. The best way to obtain new crop varieties is to promote formation of plant breeding and seed-growing greenhouse complexes. The unsatisfactory level of mechanization of production processes is a significant limiting factor. The task of preparing soil and filling pots with it is especially acute. The problem of creating an installation for dispensing bulk material has been solved at the level of patentability and is reflected in the publication. To justify its design parameters, as well as optimal operating modes, it is necessary to review and analyze process studies of machine feeders for spreading solid organic fertilizers. It allows to make correct choice of feeder type. Despite some positive results of scientific researches of feeders and spreaders of solid organic fertilizers, the problem of steady movement through bunker with subsequent bulk mass dosing has not been solved yet. Therefore, review and analysis of feeders for solid organic fertilizer spreaders, as well as experiment results on dosing bunker functioning for peat dosing prove belt feeder to be the most promising in terms of dosing and feeding stability.
