Overview of main changes of the unified information system in the sphere of purchasing for the period 2020

With the adoption of the Federal Law of 05.04.2013 № 44-FZ “On the contractual system in the field of procurement of goods, works, services to meet state and municipal needs”, significant changes were made in the regulatory framework of the system of state and municipal procurement. In order to provide information support to the contract system, the Unified Information System in the field of procurement (hereinafter referred to as the EIS) has been created and is being maintained, which contains schedules, a register of contracts, a unified register of procurement participants, a register of unscrupulous suppliers (contractors, performers), as well as other information and documents provided for by Law № 44-FZ. The article discusses the most significant changes and innovations of the EIS for the period of 2020. Currently, work continues to improve the contractual system in the field of procurement, which provides for further simplification and optimization of procurement for all its participants, which undoubtedly entails global changes in the structure and interaction of the EIS with other state information systems, electronic platforms, and regional and municipal information systems in the field of procurement.
