Review of the features of agroecological monitoring on reclaimed lands

The article focuses on Russia's food security and sustainable development of the agricultural sector through land reclamation and agro-ecological monitoring. It highlights the key objectives of government policy, including increasing crop yields and preserving the natural environment in an unfavorable climate, developing irrigation systems and drainage, and supporting farmers through government programs and subsidies. The article also emphasizes the role of land reclamation in enhancing agricultural exports, minimizing the risks of drought and waterlogging, and the impact of monitoring on management decisions and land resource planning. The article describes the goals of agroecological monitoring, the composition and selection criteria for diagnostic indicators, the principles of monitoring organization, and the role of information systems in supporting sustainable land use.
