Overview of startups on the Russian market for 2021-2023. and the factors influencing the assessment of their market value

The article examines the essence and features of changes in the market value of a company when implementing a “startup” or investing in a startup. Startup research can be used by entrepreneurs and business owners not only to gain a deeper understanding of market segments and the customer base, but also to calculate the future value and estimate the value of the business after the startup is implemented. The article presents data on ratings and the cost of startups in the Russian economy sectors for 2020-2023. The article determines that potential investors who consider innovations, first of all, as a new direction for increasing their own investments, always consider the positive dynamics of existing implementations within a startup to participate in it. A full-fledged and comprehensive multidimensional assessment of startups, both in an already developed and established business, where a startup is often a new or diversified line of activity, and in a company that enters the market for the first time and is in dire need of investment. Maximizing the profits of business owners initiating a startup and increasing the capital of investors through participation in the innovation process of a particular business entity are, of course, the most important goal, but not the only one. The article also notes that the main focus when creating value for a startup company is on innovation. Thus, one of the goals can also be called the innovative development of economic processes and companies in various industries for the benefit of society. The article focuses on determining the main characteristics of the development and implementation of a startup, which are important for determining its initial and prospective value.
