Evaluation of allergenic properties of the drug Don-1 in the general design of preclinical toxicological studies

The article presents the results of evaluating the allergenic properties of the drug DON-1 on the example of express sensitization of the skin of guinea pigs and revealing its irritating effect on the mucous membranes of the eyes of rabbits. It has been determined that during permissive epicutaneous sensitizing skin testing, the sample of the DON-1 drug does not have a local irritant effect, while the evaluation of the conjunctival test indicators revealed a pronounced potential allergenic activity of the drug, enhanced by the toxic effect of its constituent components.
