The purpose of the research is to develop a drug for the correction of metabolism under the influence of adverse chemical and physical environmental factors. In the course of the work, 4 variants of the drug were developed - K50-1, K50-2, K80, K100, which were examined for acute toxicity, biological action, and the ability to correct metabolism in acute radiation sickness. The research results showed that all experimental feed additives belong to the 4th hazard class (substances of low hazard); they have a moderate stimulating effect: with long-term intake with food, they positively affect the growth and development of the body of laboratory animals; three of them - drugs K50-2, K80, K100 have a moderate radioprotective effect: they increase the average life expectancy of lethally irradiated white mice, respectively, by 11.4, 15.2 and 7.6 % -with preventive use and by 21.9, 19.0 and 13.3 % - with treatment and prophylaxis.
