Assessment of human capital in the region (on the materials of the Vologda region)

The authors of the article present a systematization of approaches to the definition of the concept of "human capital" and its structure, identify the stages of formation and use of human capital. The factors influencing these processes are structured; an assessment of human capital is carried out according to the Federal Statistics Service, the place of the Vologda Oblast among the territories of the North-Western Federal District is determined, the main problems are identified on the example of the Vologda Oblast. The article analyzes the impact of the national project "Education" on the human capital of the region.
