Assessing the readiness of citizens to implement civic initiatives through social network interaction with government bodies: a sociological analysis

Бесплатный доступ

This article examines citizens' readiness to implement civic initiatives through social media interaction with government agencies in the context of increasingly digital society. The focus is on the psychological, social, and practical aspects that influence active public participation on digital platforms and social networks. The analysis revealed that citizens' readiness is overwhelmingly declarative: despite interest and a positive attitude toward the idea of participation, actual activity is low. The main obstacles are related to a lack of trust in government agencies, low levels of digital literacy, and a lack of motivation.
