Evaluation and analysis of physical development in children and adolescents

This review aims to highlight the milestones in establishment of pediatric monitoring of the physical development in children and adolescents. The paper provides a comprehensive insight into a variety of factors that affect physical growth and development in children. The authors emphasize importance of stateoftheart research aimed at identifying reference data for anthropometric indexes in children and adolescents who reside in different regions of the Russian Federation.
