Evaluation of the use of cryptocurrencies in the context of legalization (launtering) of drug incomes and the possibility of a pre-judicial agreement on cooperation to establish the necessary information

The article analyzes the theoretical approaches and practice of qualifying the actions of persons using cryptocurrency in drug trafficking. It is concluded that the very fact of accepting cryptocurrency as a means of payment for the drug does not form the legalization of funds obtained by criminal means, however, there are special software tools and Internet services, the use of which is more consistent with the signs of crimes under Art. 174 and Art. 174.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. One of the effective means of obtaining the information necessary for proper qualification is a pre-trial cooperation agreement.
