Topicality of consultancy support of nursery teachers working with children in early childhood is analyzed. The directions of teachers’ activities that reflect their professionalism are substantiated. Pre-test diagnostics data obtained by observation of the activity directions of the teachers that provided lower levels under the criteria in working with children are presented. Specifics of the form of providing the consultancy as for the control group are substantiated. Post-test diagnostics data are presented, which allowed defining the effectiveness of the consultancy programs in comparison
