Assessment of economic efficiency of the stimulation process of employees’ innovative behavior

There are multiple factors that influence the level of success of companies’ innovative performance. One of the most pivotal factors is highly qualified staff with high level of employees’ innovative behavior. The article is dedicated to the study of theoretical and practical features of the stimulation process of employees’ innovative behavior at industrial enterprises. The article presents the results of the implementation of an incentive project in order to increase the level of employees’ innovative behavior. The project is illustrated by the case study of “Komfort” industrial enterprise. A system of key performance indicators was chosen as a core incentive instrument in the project. The system was customized to meet the requirements of innovative activity of the enterprise. Also, the author has conducted the evaluation of the economic efficiency of the project activities. The obtained results lead to the conclusion that the project is reasonable to implement. The developments presented in this paper will help improve the policy of the management of the employees’ innovative behavior and increase their interest in such behavior. Practical significance of the research is explained by the fact that the results-based management of employees’ innovative behavior and enhancing its level will lead to favorable conditions for innovative development of industrial enterprises in the long run.
