Assessment of the logistical potential of the Yamal peninsula water transport development

The relevance of the study is determined by the strategic importance of water transport for the development of the western part of the Yamal Peninsula, where large deposits are being developed: Bovanenkovskoye, Kharasaveyskoye and, in the future, Kruzensternskoye. The growth of hydrocarbon production requires the creation of a stable logistics system that ensures both year-round supply of production facilities and the export of products through the Kara Sea. The purpose of the work is to assess the logistical potential of the region's water transport and substantiate the role of the port of Harasavey as a key hub in the supply chain. The research uses methods of analysis, calculation of capacity, economic assessment and comparison of transport schemes. The work is of practical importance, and its results can form the basis for a preliminary assessment of the logistics supply chain for promising Arctic logistics projects.
