The article deals with the problem that arose in connection with the need to determine and challenge the cadastral value, the definition of the market value of capital construction objects. The relevance of the topic is due to the lack in both the translation and in the domestic literature of the methodological basis for assessing this type of assets. The author reveals the main methodological problems faced by the appraisal community of Russia in solving problems on the evaluation of such assets, and suggests ways to solve them.
