Evaluation of continuity in the work of doctors with general practitioners and geriatrie development of the model for improvement

Objective: to assess the level of relationship and continuity in the work of doctors of various specialties in geriatrics. Materials and methods. In the work we applied the methods of statistical analysis, survey, expert assessment method with participation of the heads of basic health organizations. Results. A study examining the relationship of doctors of various specialties in geriatrics contributed to the creation of model of postgraduate training of oncologists in the field of gerontology and geriatrics, which led to coordinated work of specialists-oncologists with doctors of other specialties. The conclusions. The developed structural-functional model of postgraduate education in the field of gerontology and geriatrics for specialists of oncology service is low-cost and effective.
