Assessment of the project work skills formation and the attitude of students to the organization of project activities (using the example of the project activities of the students of the State University of Management)

The article presents and analyzes the results of a survey of 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students of the State University of Management on problems related to project activities at the University. The assessment of the development of project work skills and the attitude of students to the organization of project activities at the University are considered through the prism of personnel management, project management, strategic management and self-management. The authors have identified differences between the attitude of the 3rd and 1st-2nd year students to project work. The article describes the students' approach to project work in relation to the principle of distribution of roles within the team, the order of tasks within the framework of project work, consultations with the curator of the project. The study revealed the most popular ways among students for choice of the relevant topic of the project. The authors found out that faced with the need to use the scientific experience of researchers and analyze information from the websites of recruiting agencies, students make a choice in favor of Russian scientists and Russian recruiting agencies. The article analyzes the main the main motives of students’ participation in the implementation of projects, namely, their practical interest expressed in obtaining credit, and their professional interest related to the acquired skills and knowledge that can be used in the future, as well as the possibility of including the completed project in their professional portfolio. The authors give practical recommendations that can be used when organizing project work at a university.
