Social actors’ evaluation of intercultural communication in the context of multicultural information and communication space development in Novosibirsk

The article discusses the current state of intercultural communication in the Novosibirsk city community. On the basis of the undertaken sociological research, the author concludes that intense multicultural information flows, generated not at the city environment, dominate in the studied space, which reduces the degree of cross-cultural communication, both interpersonal and intergroup at the city level.
