Assessment of the level of digital maturity of manufacturing enterprises in the Republic of Buryatia

The article considers theoretical and methodological aspects of assessing the "digital maturity" of an industrial enterprise. We have studied digital technologies used by Russian enterprises. Based on an analysis of statistical information, we have assessed the level of digitalization of the Russian industry in comparison with world leaders. The article reveals the role and importance of industry’s digital transformation among national goals and strategic objectives for the medium term. A model for assessing the level of "digital maturity" of manufacturing enterprises is considered within the framework of the module of state information system of industry. Using the example of manufacturing enterprises of the Republic of Buryatia, we have assessed the level of "digital maturity" of industry in the region and presented projects implemented at enterprises for introduction of digital technologies into business processes. The study identifies the key challenges of digital transformations in industry, and the measures of state support for implementing digital transformation projects.
