Assessment of the level of economic security of the Ural federal district and its regions in the new reality

The key link in the national economic structure is the regional economy. It acts as themain link in internal economic interaction. Contributes to ensuring and strengthening nationaleconomic well-being. Protecting the regional economy from potential threats is becoming a priorityin the strategy to ensure economic security at the countrywide level. Assessing the economicsecurity of the region is a relevant and important task. It is carried out with the aim of ensuringsustainable economic development, increasing competitiveness, attracting investment, ensuringthe well-being of the population and adapting to changes. The article was written with the aim ofdeveloping proposals to increase the level of economic security of the Ural Federal District inthe conditions of the new reality. An analysis of the level of economic security of the Ural FederalDistrict was carried out, and the risks and threats of the regions included in its composition wereexamined. Practical recommendations are given aimed at increasing the level of economic securityof the regions of the Ural Federal District.
