Assessing the level of satisfaction with aspirations: an economic perspective on happiness

The idea of an empirical study of the processes of satisfaction with aspirations is considered. In recent decades, economists and sociologists have frequently turned to the category of subjective well-being. Scientists define happiness as the measure by which a person evaluates their life positively. By examining the results of previous scientific research on this topic, the article details current trends in satisfaction with the results of social and individual development. Moreover, the practice of systematically applying empirical analysis allows us to draw conclusions about how to create favorable conditions for the development of citizens and society.
