Evaluating the influence of personal qualities and character traits on the professional self-identity of pedagogical university students

Introduction. The article examines the problem of finding factors that determine the professional self-identity of pedagogical universities students and their weak motivation to work at school. The purpose of the study is to identify the degree of influence of personal qualities and character traits of pedagogical universities students on their inclination to the chosen profession.
