Assessment of the implementation of digital technologies in the region 's agriculture

Since 2017, the country has embarked on a digitalization of the economy, through the implementation of the Digital Economy of the Russian Federation program, one of the goals of which is to increase the competitiveness of individual sectors of the economy in the country, including agriculture. Altai Krai has become a pilot region for digitalization of agriculture. Over a short period of time, certain results were achieved, such as the Competence Center was created to provide agriculture with highly qualified personnel in the field of digital technology management, the «precision farming» system is being implemented in efficient farms in the region, 10 % of the region’s area is covered by digital technologies, and the RESPAK information system is used to collection and processing of information in order to provide state support and much more. However, far from all agricultural producers can now fully switch to digital technologies, but only large-sized agricultural enterprises with a stable financial situation.
