Carried out for the first time in cardiac surgery is the evaluation of cardiac protection by using a laser-induced fluorescence method. The processes of intraoperative damage of cardiocyte DNA at anoxic and reperfusion stages are also studied while observing 12 infants with congenital heart diseases (CHD) operated under extracorporeal circulation, with their myocardium protected by «Custodiol» solution.
