One of the directions in the development of the continuous mathematics education in the system "school - higher educational institution"

The article describes the directions of work carried out by the basic department of the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics of National Research Saratov State University within the organisation and aiming to improve the quality of mathematics education. The following objectives of this collaboration are defined: development of math awareness as well as cultivation of mathematics elite. The tasks to be solved are also enumerated. The forms of and approaches to the collaboration are presented and the directions for their development are outlined.
