Prostitution is viewed as a complex sociopathological phenomenon which is actually based on trading with sexuality. In all previous types of society a man was an economic base of a household, so it was understandable that he was the 'ruler' among the other members of the household. In the past, a woman used to spend the time at home doing most of her activities in the household or family estate. It was really hard for women to do any economic activity on their own outside their households by the second part of 20th century. Generally speaking, they were existentially completely dependent upon men. That means that they were not solely restricted in their reproduction ability, but they were also limited in approaching the economic sources of productivity. We want to emphasize the fact that there is no evidence of prostitution being increased or decreased, no matter if it was legally banned or tolerated. Objective judgment says that prostitution existed throughout the human history, just like it exists today, but we should bear in mind that it did not exist in all societies, so, there is a logical conclusion that it does not have to exist at all. It means that if a society wants to eradicate the phenomenon of prostitution, it has to deal with the problem in a serious manner. The sociological development of the society proves that it is possible. Through the development of the society, one can notice the change of customs, ways of living, pleasures, as well as the other moments connected with human's physiology. Based on these changes, one can conclude that prostitution can disappear because it is not an organic part of the society but its artificial one.
