Official business description: specific usage of verb predicates

Бесплатный доступ

The article reviews the specifics of descriptive texts of official style, as well as the usage of verb predicates. With the dominance of description and characteristics, official business style has contaminated and visual types of description. Predicates of descriptive text performing the function of a “constant” value in a structural-semantic description model and verbalizing space parameters can be divided into two main groups: 1) units that nominate the spatial characteristics of one object in relation to another (placement in space, position, coverage object, filling the space, boundaries of space, direction, spatial ratio of objects), and 2) predicates verbalizing the spatial characteristics of the object itself (form of object, flat surface characteristics, position of objects in space, light and color characteristics).
