Fire training of internal affairs bodies while improving the pistol shooting skills

Recently there has been a significant increase in the number of crimes involving the use of firearms. In many cases, weapons are used against law enforcement officers who must be confronted with the opponents and emerge victorious regardless of the situation. The study describes the techniques for improving the acquired shooting skills as well as developing new shot elements. The research focuses on the prompt transition of the trainees from the initial stage of shooting skills development to their refinement. The paper shows the evidence of sufficient skills of a shooter and his readiness to such transition. While training the internal affairs bodies, it is necessary to practise the changes in movement until they become automatic. The author provides recommendations for a shooter and an instructor to master the flash technique when the shot is taken according to the movement-shot-movement scheme.
