Nature conservation in the Kyrgyz Republic: the essence and legal basis of its organization

The article is devoted to a review and analysis of the legal framework for organizing environmental protection activities in the Kyrgyz Republic. The author emphasizes that human activity causes enormous harm to nature, and therefore the issue of environmental protection becomes the most pressing today. The essence of the concept of environmental protection is revealed, its purpose and objectives are given. The author notes that environmental issues cannot be resolved only at the local level; such a solution requires international cooperation. A review of international agreements in the form of various conventions and the legislative framework of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of nature conservation was carried out. The goals and objectives of government bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic in this area are indicated. The types of environmental control carried out in the country are considered.
