Screening of the breast carcinoma in the program of active aging

The citizens of Russia have the task to overcome the 80-year age. To order to do this, it is necessary to solve a number of medical and social problems among which it is necessary to focus on the importance of improving the social structure of society, the growth of the educational level, carry the hygienic culture, the elimination of bad habits, the growth of environmental consciousness and spirituality. The most important is the preservation of women's health. Mammographic screening has been actively carried out opportunistically in most countries of the world. The highest rate of the female population with breast cancer screening was 89% in Finland and 81% in Sweden, 70% in USA. Mortality was decreased from 50% to 25%. The Federal Program of regular medical examination of adults in the Russian Federation has been implemented since 2013. A reduction in the 1-year mortality, total mortality (2628%) and standardized mortality ratio (17,5%), and also the decrease in the proportion of patients with stage III and stage IV malignant tumor and the increase of the five-year absolute survival rate (from 50% to 60%) was a result of mammographic screening. The percentage of patients with breast cancer was increased to 42% due to the creation of 3,000 mammography rooms, the introduction of new diagnostic, hospital-replacing technologies, as well as the active development of surgery, radiation therapy, targeted chemotherapy.
