Along with the development of online education platforms, awareness of the importance of training in this format is gradually growing on the Internet. In this regard, this article is aimed at exploring the possibilities of online education in China, which received a powerful boost in development during the COVID-19 pandemic due to the restrictions imposed in society and the need for social distancing. However, it is noted that the urgent nature of the transfer of the country's educational system to a remote format caused the emergence of a number of organizational problems and did not contribute to improving the quality of education. The most promising for the authors is a mixed form of education, which will allow using the advantages of both digital and traditional technologies of training specialists in the educational process. In addition, the article notes the need to integrate online learning with the axiological and ideological education of students, which will increase the overall level of national culture and help avoid the negative impact of unverified information from open sources on young people.
