Online programs and platforms for teaching English

The rapid development of modern information and computer technologies has led to the emergence of a new generation of young people (generation Z) brought up on digital gadgets. To develop an effective educational environment, universities are introducing interactive methods, including computer programs and platforms. The article gives a brief overview of the experience of the Department of "Foreign Languages in Professional Communication" of the Kazan National Research Technological University on the use of various online platforms for teaching students a foreign language. The inclusion of such programs in the educational process makes it possible to motivate students more effectively and facilitate the work of teachers.
