Бесплатный доступ

Language lacunae, understood as a significant lack of an element, compensated using various means, are a useful construct of the theory of language, making possible to focus on the specific points of organizing linguistic means at all levels, both within a certain language or when comparing different languages. When studying interlanguage and intralingual lacunae, the author uses inductive and deductive methods when the corresponding linguistic material is gathered. The modeling method and taxonomic linguistic description are used to observe language lacunary units and identify connections between them via the system of necessary common features. Using the method of dynamic description, interlingual and intralingual lacunae are considered from the viewpoint of existing norms and rules of modern linguistic science. Based on the material of various literary sources, linguistic facts are determined. Such verification allows opening the way for further detailed research of the concept of “interlingual and intralingual lacunae” in terms of intellectual-logical and cognitive-pragmatic interpretation of the language system components.
