The goal of this paper is institutionalization of the ontology of time, the method of the analysis is ontological analysis of time. The paper presents a concept of ontological complexity of time, introduces a variety of its ontological forms and their hierarchy, such as material (physical, natural) time, and nonmaterial - virtual, ideal (private, psychological, existential, social, historical, political, cultural) times. We prove that nonmaterial time, contrary to the physical one, is either subjective or intersubjective. It is shown that modern results of natural science do not allow constructing the complete ontology of time, because its properties are not fully defined. We outline substantial ontological features of time: its ability to stipulate the past, the present and the future, and to reveal the processes of formation, behavior, dynamics and development. We introduce the notions of ideal epistemic time and virtual experience time and discuss their specific ontological properties, such as specific scales, rhythms, acceleration and deceleration, possibility of inversion and disappearance. The result is institutionalization of the ontological concept of time, which incorporates diversity of forms and unity of its substantial properties.
Time, ontological forms of time, physical time, virtual time, subjective time, intersubjective time, ideal time
