This article discusses the concept of acquittal, its role in the criminal process. Comparing this sentence with other procedural acts, it is possible to determine the main features inherent exclusively in justification. Also in this work, statistics on the number of sentences handed down and the opinions of some theorists are viewed. In order for the court to make a decision on the acquittal of the defendants, it is important to establish the innocence of the defendant in the commission of a crime, the absence of the composition and events of the crime.
