The aim of the work was to study the chronic toxicity of a new strain of the probiotic Bacillus coagulants on the body of laboratory animals during its long-term use and the study of clinical and biochemical bases. 80 laboratory animals (mice) were used in the experiment. Laboratory animals were given probiotic Bacillus coagulants enter ally 1 time a day, each animal on an empty stomach for 30 days. The death of laboratory mice when using probiotics in the studied groups was not detected. To identify the damaging effect, biochemical parameters were studied: AsT, AlT, glucose, total protein, creatinine. The results of studies of the chronic toxicity of the probiotic Bacillus coagulans indicate that the bacterial additive, when used for a long time in doses of 0,5 ml 107 CFU - 0,6 ml 107 CFU, does not show a toxic effect on the body.
