This paper presents data on the determination of acute toxicity of a new extruded feed compound on white mice in the conditions of the Kazan GAVM vivarium. To conduct the experiments, 4 groups of white mice were formulated, with a live weight of 18-20 g, 6 heads each, and an extruded feed additive in different dosages was administered per os. At the same time, the clinical picture and behavioral reactions were studied in experimental animals. According to the results of the study, it was found that with a single injection of the extruded feed additive, white mice experienced shortness of breath, lack of appetite, and refusal to feed, but after 1.5-2 hours they returned to their original state. It was found that intragastric administration of the test sample of the extruded feed additive in prescribed doses to laboratory mice is tolerated by animals without visible consequences, and therefore it is classified as low-toxic and according to GOST 12.1.007-76 refers to low-hazard substances.
