The definition of the term “special knowledge” for the legislation of the Donetsk People’s Republic

The article deals with the special knowledge definition, its main characteristic features have been analyzed scientifically. The ways of resolving disputable issues have been suggested. As follows from the analysis and generalization of the existing scientific concepts the author’s definition has been formulated, according to which the special knowledge is a collection of not well-known, not public, scientific and practical knowledge, abilities, experience and skills, except knowledge in the filed of substantive and procedural law, in the field of science, technology, art or craft in accordance with the current high level of professional and theoretical training, used to promote the investigatory agencies of collection and examination of evidences, establishment of truth in a criminal case. The research results of the “specialized knowledge” definition can be taken into account in the formation of procedural legislation of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
