Determination of oil and moisture contents in mustard seeds using IR-spectrometry

Бесплатный доступ

Near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) was used for estimation of biochemical traits in the whole (unbroken) seeds of the mustard of three species, independently of growing conditions and different coloring of seed cover of mustard samples. At the first stage of the research we worked out calibrating models for IR-analyzer MATRIX-I (Bruker Optics, Germany) to determine oil and moisture contents in mustard seeds. For research we used seeds of winter and spring mustard (Brassica juncea L.), white mustard (Sinapis alba) and black mustard (Brassica nigra L.), produced in 2015-2019 in the different agroecological conditions of the Russian Federation. Oil content was determined with NMR-analyzer AMV 1006M according to the method of the State Standard 8.597-2010, moisture - by the standard method of the State Standard 10856-96. To prove the reliability of the developed models we used the results of determination of oil content and moisture in seeds from test lot by an indicator of calibration accuracy...
