Optimization of parameters of functional planning decisions of typical apartments of the housing fund of the Russian Federation

The article discusses the common mistakes of functional-planning decisions of apartments in the domestic housing stock. We are studying the question of what should be a comfortable home that can satisfy the basic needs of modern citizens of the Russian Federation. Experts in the field of architecture and construction note the lack of a developed range of apartments in new buildings, their small area, lack of natural light and air volume. In addition, according to the Federal State Statistics Service, there is a negative tendency to reduce the average area of apartments by 35%, from 2010 to the present. Almost half of all Russians want to improve their living conditions by increasing the area of rooms.
