This article examines methods for optimizing the technical training of cyclists at the initial coaching stage by integrating targeted coordination exercises. The study’s goal and specific objectives are outlined, and the organization and methodology— including theoretical literature review, pedagogical observation, coordinated testing, and statistical analysis—are detailed. A pedagogical experiment involving two groups of 9–10- year-old beginner cyclists is described, with one group following a traditional program and the other incorporating the author’s coordination-focused regimen. The results obtained confirm that incorporating coordination exercises into training at the initial stage ensures a faster skill acquisition process, improved movement precision, and the establishment of a solid foundation for subsequent technical refinement.
