Sports and physical education are now becoming not only an interesting pastime with health benefits, but also a necessity for every person, given the constantly accelerating rhythm of life and the increase in various mental, infectious and chemical stress, from which it is almost impossible to hide. In such conditions, a person has to be under the influence of stress for a long time, and at the same time there is often not enough strength, because all energy substrates are wasted, and there is a risk of developing depression or severe neurosis. Anaerobic respiration is responsible for the implementation of short-term increased loads, which we encounter most often in life. The anaerobic endurance that interests us mostly depends on its level, namely glycogen stores in muscles, and the rate of excretion of metabolites. By increasing it, it is possible to improve the mechanisms of urgent adaptation, which will allow students not only to stay in good shape, but also to be more adapted to the world around them.
