Optimization of life time cathode assemblies in plasmatrons

The paper is devoted to the method of simulation and optimization of life time cathode assemblies in lowtemperature plasma generators. The results of computational-experimental study aimed at optimization of thermal conditions and life time of the composite cathode assemblies’ plasmatrons are presented. Calculations by the developed method correlate with the experimental results.
