The article presents the results of studies on optimizing the composition of the nutrient medium to increase the production of feed enzymes by the B. subtilis GA24 strain. The greatest increase in the activity of xylanases and proteases of bacilli was observed when xylan at a concentration of 1.0% and peptone at a concentration of 0.75% were added to the medium. Further study of the ability of this strain to produce feed enzymes opens up the prospect of creating a biological product that combines the properties of a probiotic and a feed enzyme for poultry farming.
