Optimization of treatment tactics in patients with hallux valgus deformity

Hallux valgus is one of the most widely spread orthopedic pathologies. The authors have suggested a technique for surgical correction of the pathology using Shede-Logroshino surgery with subsequent fixation of the first metatarsal bone with a mini-device of special design for external fixation. Such an approach contributes to the reduction of rehabilitation period, decreases the risk of complications and deformity recurrences, allows to achieve good cosmetic and aesthetic effects.
