Optimization of soybean genotyping process using analysis of a polymorphism of SSR-loci in DNA

Soybean is the main protein-oil crop in the world. And every year production of soybean is growing. There are paid much attention to the breeding and seed growing of this crop because of its high economic importance. To characterize new soybean cultivars applied for patent there are used morphological trait in current time. For these purposes the modern methods of assessment allows using the unique DNA profiles that are obtained on the base of microsatellite (SSR) loci. The purpose of this work is to optimize the existing technology of soybean cultivars identification and certification. We chose 13 pairs of SSR-primers located in the different soybean chromosomes. The results of DNA amplification from the 23 soybean cultivars developed in the different breeding centers showed all the studied 13 SSR-loci are polyallelic.
