Experience of the Astrakhan region as an example of managing multi-ethnicity by improving media and information literacy of the population

The article is devoted to the analysis of national regional press as a factor of media and information literacy of ethnic groups of the Astrakhan region. The Caspian region, which is characterized by polyconfessionality and polyetnic composition, reaches the level of acquiring a single information space. The author emphasizes that it is necessary to preserve a single information field of ethnic groups in the Astrakhan region, in which newspapers and magazines can operate freely for citizens who speak Russian and national languages regardless of their nationality and religion.
