Experience and problems of stimulating effective pedagogical activities of university professors

The article deals with the most pressing problems of stimulating pedagogical activities with regard to every teacher's qualification and contribution made. The author analyzes the experience of applying various forms of financial and moral incentives, and their impact on motivation of universities' teaching staff. Some examples of professors' financial incentives for educational, methodological and research activities are illustrated.
